IMPORTANTE: con el paso del tiempo el carbón activo puede comenzar a perder parte de su eficacia. Si se da el caso es posible volver a activar el carbón poniendo el estuche del revés bajo un sol suave durante unos 10 minutos. También es posible usar una secadora a baja temperatura durante ese tiempo. Al exponerse a una temperatura más alta, las espigas de carbón se liberan y activan de nuevo. Debe evitarse a toda costa que el su interior se humedezca.
