The ROOT!T Dry Peat Free Plug 60 Refill Bag contains 60 peat-free rooting plugs, moulded from natural coco coir fibre, enough to fill a 60-cell tray. The dry plugs are lightweight and can be stored for a long time without the risk of mould developing. The bag is resealable to keep unused plugs in good condition. We recommend that, after placing them in a propagation tray, they are left to soak overnight in a solution to fully hydrate before use. The plugs have a stepped hole at the top, with a wider hole for seeds and a narrower, deeper hole underneath for cuttings. Young plants will root quickly in the plugs and can be transplanted once roots are visible. The plugs are natural, biodegradable, and will naturally break down in the substrate or soil.
