It was 1998 when a doctor, a friend of the actiTube founder, advised him to use activated charcoal to filter the smoke from his bong to reduce the damage to his respiratory tract. That same night, with a bong and activated charcoal, he began his filtration experiments. At first, the fear of losing THC made him rather sceptical, but two years later he was fully convinced of the advantages of filtration. Thus the idea was born to offer all those who like to consume cannabis a filter that would reduce the harmful substances and improve the taste.
